Injured Tottenham look to deal fatal blow to Arsenal’s Premier League ambitions

Tottenham Hotspur vs Arsenal should be a very tight affair as players from both teams are determined to secure an important win for their teams.

Tottenham are about to enter a new era under Igor Tudor, who will be tasked with pulling them out of the relegation battle, which currently sees the Lilywhites sit 16th in the Premier League, just five points off the relegation zone.

Spurs may look a little different under a pragmatic manager in Tudor, but they will look to absorb Arsenal’s pressure and use dangerous counter-attacks to secure a big win.

Arsenal are still recovering from the chaos of a 2-2 draw with Wolves, a game in which they led 2-0 late in the game, and the Gunners need a big win to shake the bitter taste out of their mouths.

Arsenal will need to be more ruthless in finishing and produce a similar dominant performance to their 4-0 win over Tottenham earlier this season to win this time.

Fortunately for the Gunners, they have won six of their last seven games against Spurs, who really need to come up with something special to end that run of dominance.

Can hard-working Connor Gallagher create a derby day classic against Arsenal?

Igor Tudor has been unlucky to inherit an injury-plagued Tottenham squad ahead of their clash with Arsenal, but one player he will be hoping to get the best out of is combative midfielder Connor Gallagher.

The former Chelsea midfielder struggled in his first few games for the Lilywhites and has only provided one assist in his Spurs career so far, in a 2-2 draw with Manchester City.

Gallagher, who has scored 18 goals in his Premier League career, will need to be at his best to deliver a memorable performance against Arsenal.

He needs to cleverly use his running and series tactics to cause trouble for Arsenal’s midfielder. He also needs to use his game reading ability to seize opportunities and finish opponents vigorously to help Tottenham gain an advantage against Arsenal.

Will Victor Chokeres step up to revive a crumbling Arsenal?

Victor Jakores had a somewhat frustrating performance in Arsenal’s recent Premier League draw, but he has been arguably one of the Gunners’ best players in a shaky start to 2026.

The Swedish striker has scored six goals (in all competitions) for Arsenal in 2026, including three in his last four Premier League games for the Gunners.

Joe Kreis needs to be more confident and brave in his performance in the opposition half. He needs to use his physicality and sharp running to bully the Spurs defenders and disrupt their rhythm.

If Joe Kreis can finish his chance with enough ruthlessness and grace, he can inspire Arsenal to a big derby win and get their title race back on track.
