Accessories have the ability to change clothing and reduce your appearance from mediocre to greatness. They also highlight your personality and increase your confidence.

My clients often tell me “I love accessories but just don’t know how to use them!“

If the idea of ​​accessories overwhelms me, my advice is to start small and keep it simple. Only one fresh accessory will inject a new life into your autumn outfit and update your style.

Here are five trial and testing tips that can effectively help you configure:

1. Shopping your wardrobe

Find hidden gems in the closet before splashing anything new. Choose the one you like and challenge yourself to wear it in the next few days. Place accessories somewhere because if they are on the back of the closet, you will never wear them.

2. Work with your personal style

Consider what clothes you like to wear. Is it a necklace, earring or other jewelry? If you are someone who hates wearing jewelry, that’s great, just choose a scarf or something. There are many options out there!

3. Exaggerate your functions

The shorter necklace will catch your first half attention and the voice earrings will accentuate your face. Use a belt to highlight the waist and shoes to balance out the clothes. If you want to cover up your curved hips, you can also use a bright tote to attract your eyes upwards.

4. Remember less is more

If you have any questions, please keep it simple. The general rule is to buy a statement, such as an earring or necklace, rather than together. If layered necklaces and bracelets, use the amount that is comfortable for you. I have a friend who layered 10 necklaces together and it looked great. However, I found that three pieces were much more than that because I lost interest in wearing them!

5. Have fun
