I’ve always struggled with glossy magazine editorials. You know, the model wearing £50,000 worth of clothing hanging from a fruit and vegetable stall in East London. Looks like I’m not the only one who can’t relate.

What I really enjoy when I’m out and about in London, though, is people-watching.

Why people watching inspires us

I get a lot of my fashion inspiration from observing well-coordinated outfits worn on the real-life streets of London. The clothes that people actually choose to wear when they leave the house and go about their daily lives are more relevant and wearable.

Of course, you can wear anything on the streets of London, but every season certain styles, combinations and themes emerge.

While I don’t believe in following trends for the sake of following them, I love seeing fresh ideas for clothing and pieces that I can use at work. These insights ensure I continue to create stylish, modern and wearable wardrobes for my clients.
